LIMA, Ohio - On August 28th The Ohio State University’s Lima Campus will host a field day that will focus on regenerative agriculture. This day-long event will be held at the Ohio State Lima Regenerative Agriculture Farm (LRAF). The LRAF initiative started in 2020 and aims to provide research and educational opportunities focused on regenerative farming practices.
The field day will feature talks by leading experts, industry representatives, and testimonials from practicing farmers. In-field demonstrations include plots of various cover crop mixes, center pivot irrigation, drainage water recycling, and water quality. The event is intended for farmers, drainage contractors, state and federal agency personnel, extension educators, students, and the general public.
The cost to register is $25 and includes lunch and demonstrations. The last day to register online is Thursday, August 14th. Cash and check payments will be accepted on the day of the event but not credit cards.
