PERRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WLIO) — A Perry Local School District bus collided with a car at a rural intersection in Perry Township on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the bus was traveling east on Hume Road and had stopped at the stop sign at Saint Johns Avenue before proceeding into the intersection. Troopers say the bus then clipped a car heading north on Saint Johns Avenue, sending it across the left side of the roadway and into a nearby field.
Six students and the bus driver were on the bus, and only the driver was in the car.
No injuries were reported.
