LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — As the West Ohio Food Bank continues to see rising needs, support is coming from the community.
Reineke Family Dealerships donated $1,800 to the food bank, helping supply thousands of meals to families in the area. The funds were raised through a Ford Motor Company test-drive program held at Reineke locations throughout the year.
“It’s just great to help out the West Ohio Food Bank, especially this time of the year, going into the holidays, and with everything going on with the SNAP program. It’s just incredible to see the need they have,” said Matt Holtsberry, general manager of Reineke Ford Lincoln.
The West Ohio Food Bank says every dollar donated can help provide up to six meals for those in need.
