Media Release from Superior Credit Union
LIMA, OH— Superior Credit Union is pleased to announce the development of a new branch in downtown Lima, on the corner of Elm and Main. This new office will be the seventh Lima location and the 26th Superior branch in Ohio.
The new branch at 241 S. Main St. will occupy the newly renovated, historic building built in 1908 as the Pabst Tied House. This building, along with the Franklin and Howisher buildings connected to the north, are part of a renovated group of buildings housing new businesses in Downtown Lima. Superior Credit Union is proud to have participated in the renaissance of these historic buildings.
Members of Superior will have access to an extensive portfolio of financial products, ranging from certificates of deposits to home loans. Superior also stays up to date with the latest banking technology, with services such as Online Banking, 24-7 deposit-taking ATMs and more.
“We have been a part of the Lima community since our inception in 1954. We are excited to support the downtown revitalization with our new branch,” said Phil Buell, President and CEO of Superior. “We look forward to giving our members another convenient location offering excellent service and technology.”
The new location is slated to open in Summer 2026. Superior looks forward to continuing serving its 28,000 Lima members and the community. For more information and construction updates, follow Superior Credit Union on Facebook.
