LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Many area restaurants and businesses are offering deals for Veteran's Day to thank those who served or who are currently serving our country.
Be sure to check with the business beforehand to make sure that that location is participating in the discount and what kind of proof of service you'll need.
Applebee's: All Active Duty Military, Veterans, Reserves, and National Guard members who dine-in will receive a complimentary full-size entrée from a list of seven choices, including their Chicken Tenders Platter and Fiesta Lime Chicken; as well as a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for dine-in, To Go, or delivery within a three-week redemption window.
Biggby Coffee: All veterans and active-duty military members can present their military ID to their Biggby Coffee barista to get any 16-ounce beverage for $1.99.
Bob Evans: Bob Evans will offer a special menu available to veterans and active-duty military free at their local Bob Evans Restaurant, just show your military ID. Dine-in only, beverage not included.
Chipotle: Veterans and active-duty military personnel with a valid military ID who order any entrée can get a second entrée free from 4 PM to 8 PM on Veterans Day.
Cracker Barrel: All veterans and active-duty service members with a valid military ID can receive a free Sunrise Pancake Special, dine-in only.
Little Caesars: Veterans and active-duty military members can receive a free Hot-N-Ready Lunch Combo this Veterans Day, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Lunch Combo includes four slices of Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi beverage. Just show your military ID.
McDonald's (Lima Area): Participating Lima area McDonald’s restaurants will offer one free meal to all veterans, with a valid military ID, all day on Tuesday, November 11. For breakfast, they are offering free Egg McMuffin meal, including a hash brown and any size soft drink, tea or coffee. For lunch or dinner, veterans can enjoy a free 3-piece McCrispy Strips Meal, with medium fry and any size soft drink, tea or coffee. Dine-in only.
Olive Garden: Veterans and current member of the military who dine-in can receive a free entrée from a special menu, simply show proof of military service.
Red Lobster: On Veterans Day, all veterans, active-duty military, and reserves can get a free Shrimp & Chips entrée when they present a valid military ID.
Wendys: Veterans and active duty can receive a free breakfast combo during breakfast hours, just notify the crew member at the register or show their VetRewards Card.
Wings and Rings: Veterans and active-duty military personnel can receive a free lunch combo throughout the day when they dine-in and present a valid military ID.
Armstrong Air & Space Museum: Veterans can visit the museum for free.
Drive & Shine: All Drive & Shine locations will provide veterans with a complimentary Platinum wash, which includes Ceramic Wax, Underbody Rinse, and Wheel Polish.
