The Auglaize County Historical Society gets nearly $19,000 to make repairs at the Wapakoneta Museum.
The grant came from the Ohio History Connection in honor of the anniversary when Ohio got its statehood on March 1st. The grant will be used to help make repairs to the masonry on the outside of the museum and replace the roof on the rear addition of the 160-year-old building. The Ohio History Connection awarded a record $207,000 spread over 18 grants around the state.
