An Auglaize County Fair coronation ceremony gathered crowds to the grandstands Monday evening.
Ten eagerly waited to hear their names called, but Michaelia Fisher and Adam Vogel were the only ones able to walk away as Auglaize County royalty. Their volunteerism, clubs and organization participation, as well as scholastic accomplishments were finally recognized. After all their hard work, the two were able to agree the experience was both fun and rewarding.
Vogel will be moving on to OSU Lima in the fall to pursue his entrepreneurial endeavors while Fisher finishes her final year at Wapakoneta High School. Fisher then plans to enter the medical field where she can put her skills towards cancer research.
