LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Week seven of the high school football season delivered another round of highlight-reel plays, but one stood above the rest.
This week’s K&M Contracting Play of the Week comes from Wapakoneta’s Western Buckeye League showdown with Shawnee.
Leading 28–7 in the second half, quarterback Caleb Moyer scrambled out of the pocket under heavy pressure and fired a strike into the end zone just before being brought down. Waiting there was Jarrett Mullen, who made the catch for the touchdown.
Even with defenders closing in, Moyer stayed composed and delivered a perfect pass on the run, while Mullen found open space for the score.
Wapakoneta went on to defeat Shawnee 42–14 to remain unbeaten in WBL play and on the season. The Redskins return home in Week 8 to host Kenton.
Congratulations to Caleb Moyer and Jarrett Mullen — this week’s K&M Contracting Play of the Week winners.
