MINSTER, Ohio (WLIO) – A Cridersville man was killed during a workplace accident Monday morning.
According to Auglaize County Sheriff Mike Vorhees, Ayden Hadding, 21, was killed by a large bridge beam at Kard Welding just outside of Minster. The accident occurred at 6:57 a.m.
Detectives interviewed employees and reviewed video footage from inside the company and determined it was an accident. Hadding had been working to hook up a large beam to be moved when it shifted and fell on him.
Coworkers discovered Hadding shortly after the incident, but he had already succumbed to his injuries.
OSHA will be looking into the incident.
