Republican Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy headlines Auglaize County GOP's Lincoln Day Dinner

Vivek Ramaswamy, the headliner for the Auglaize County GOP’s Lincoln Day Dinner. The Republican Ohio gubernatorial candidate and businessman has been traveling the state, meeting up with voters. After recent endorsements from President Trump and 4th District Congressman Jim Jordan, Ramaswamy says he has plans to take Ohio to the next level, while tackling some key issues along the way.

“What I've heard is that people are optimistic about our state, but they're ready to go to the next level. If I look at some of the big challenges we're facing, it's improving our educational achievement crisis, and filling a workforce shortage in our state. It's one of the things I'm really focused on, and I think Ohio is ready to believe in ourselves. It's a home of great achievement and source of great national pride right here. I think we need to bring back that sense of conviction and pride, not just in America, but in Ohio. I do think that's going to take a new generation of leadership. It's part of why I'm in this and I'm excited about it,” added Ramaswamy.

As of right now, Ramaswamy will be facing current Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and businesswoman Heather Hill in next year’s primary election.
