The Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo paid a visit to students and staff at Delphos St. John's Friday morning.
Bishop Daniel Thomas led mass for the entire school and later answered questions with high school juniors and seniors. The Bishop makes an effort to visit all of the schools in the Diocese of Toledo at least every other year, to connect with students there and to let them know that he is in support of them as they grow in their faith.
"It's so important for me as a Bishop to be present with our young people, to hear their questions, their concerns, their joys, their sorrows, and to let them know that as a shepherd, I'm with them, I'm journeying with them in Christ Jesus, and hopefully together we're making our way to Heaven," said Bishop Thomas.
There are 14 high schools in the Diocese of Toledo.
