Board of Developmental Disabilities Host Partnership Luncheon

The Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities had the chance to honor all of the community agencies and partners they've worked with over this past year. The seventh annual partnership luncheon featured performances by the Marimor school dance group and Marimor idol winner. Awards were presented to community leaders and businesses for their contributions to the agency. Some of the awards included their President's award, the Partner in Community award, the John Wilt "I Love my Community" award and several others.

"For what we do for the individuals we serve, our community partners are pivotal to what we do, and so we're just really glad we get the opportunity to give out some awards and talk about the year and review how things have gone," Theresa Schnipke, Superintendent for Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities, said.

She says the luncheon is also a way to showcase the work they have done over the year.
