Body found in pond at Owens Community College

Authorities in Findlay have recovered the body of a woman after her car was found submerged in a pond at Owens Community College earlier Monday.

Findlay police and the fire department responding around noon, following reports of a submerged car. They removed a Ford Contour from the water and found the woman's body inside. Investigators say it looked like the car had been there for a while, and as accidentally driven into the water. A positive I.D. has not yet been made, but an autopsy is being performed by the Lucas County Coroner's Office. Police are meanwhile investigating the discovery, as being connected to a missing person case out of Clyde, Ohio.

In early April, a Clyde woman identified as Charlene Robinson, turned up missing. The car she was driving matches the description of the one pulled out of the water. At the time, her family indicated Robinson had dementia.
