Bradfield Center hosts area organizations for 'Better Together' luncheon

The Bradfield Community Association brought together area organizations for the 'Better Together' luncheon in preparation for their 80th anniversary.

Local representatives from area organizations like Lima City Schools, Husky Energy, and Honda were invited to hear a presentation about the accomplishments and partnerships throughout the past couple of years. New initiatives include developing a health and wellness program and a coat drive in collaboration with the Neighborhood Thrift Store.

The executive director of the Bradfield Center says it was an opportunity to share the good things the center is doing in the community.

"You just think about being in the community for 80 years you have to celebrate it. So this is leading up. We just want to show people where we were where we are and where we're going," said Kesha Drake, Executive Director of the Bradfield Center.

The Bradfield will celebrate it's 80th year in 2018.
