LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Current students as well as alumni of the University of Northwestern Ohio were able to connect with local employers in order to take the next step in their career.
A career fair gathered more than 60 companies to help students find out how they would like to continue their journey in life. The students who attended the fair studied in a variety of degree programs such as automotive technology, high-performance technology, diesel technology, and alternate fuels.
"Students getting ready to graduate, they are looking for their career path. They are talking to employers about starting their careers and for the newer students, they are able to get exposed to some of those things that they might think about, different career paths that they might be able to take as they progress through their school and graduate. Very beneficial to all of our students," explained Jacob Hixenberg, director of career services.
Some employers who attended the fair were from outside the state of Ohio.
