A Sunday night tradition is back in Faurot Park.
The Council for the Arts of Greater Lima kicked off their annual Concerts in the Park music series. Local Americana Rockers Bison '76 got things rolling at the Rotary Pavilion, which will host bands for the next six Sundays at 7 p.m. The Council for the Arts has put on the series for over 50 years now, each year with the goal to give families something fun and local to do together.
"We've been doing this for 52 years, so it's important for us to have opportunities for families to come out, to enjoy our beautiful parks, to see great art, great music, and to do it free," says Bart Mills, Executive Director for the council.
Next Sunday will feature the rock group Apollo Engineers. You can find a full schedule for the series at www.LimaArtsCouncil.com.
