LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A United States representative says that the upcoming election is important to current trends across the nation, including inflation.
Jim Jordan states that inflation is on the minds of voters this coming election, and urged people to vote for J.D. Vance for Senate. Jordan also stated that he believes that the Republican party can take back both the House and Senate, and says that it is pivotal if they want to battle inflation.
"Not to mention what's happening with the price of everything the crazy spending. We had Janet Yellen and then she said this 4 or 5 months ago, the treasury secretary in the Biden administration… she said well this inflation kind of surprised us. I'm like what are you crazy? You spend like crazy, you pay people not to work, and you drive up the cost of energy, and somehow you got surprised we got record inflation. I'm just a country boy and I can figure that out," stated Jim Jordan, R-OH.
The general election is less than a month away, it will take place on November 8th.
