Crestview rallies past Bluffton for 51-44 conference win

BLUFFTON, OH (WLIO) - Crestview snapped its skid and picked up a Northwest Conference win with a 51-44 victory over Bluffton on Tuesday night.
Bluffton struck first in the opening quarter when Macy Schaadt knocked down a 3-pointer to put the Pirates on the board. C
restview struggled early but found momentum by turning defense into offense, capped by a basket from Kaci Gregory that cut the deficit to five.
The game was tied at 11 in the second quarter before Bluffton regained the lead behind senior Blair Utendorf, who connected on a floater.
The Pirates followed with consecutive scores, including a midrange jumper from Greta Myers, to maintain their edge.
Crestview closed strong down the stretch, taking control late as Evie Williman drilled a key 3-pointer to swing momentum.
The Lady Knights held off Bluffton the rest of the way to secure the seven-point conference win.
