Convicted Murderer Is Resentenced

43-year-old Patrick Coller was sentenced to life in prison without parole last week, for the aggravated murder of his wife, 42-year-old Jerri Coller. On Monday, he was in court for resentencing. Last week he was sentenced to serve life in prison and an additional six years for firearm specifications. Coller was brought back to court on Monday, for what the state and defense attorneys described as a "necessary administrative procedure."

Allen County Common Pleas Court Judge, David Cheney, informed Coller of the mandatory five years of post release control following a release, and advised him of his right to appeal.

In 2014, Coller led Delphos Police to a corn field where he had shot and killed his wife. He will serve the six years for the gun specification before he begins his life sentence. The life sentence comes without the possibility of parole.
