City of Lima continues spay and neuter assistance for pet owners

Lima city officials say a local program aimed at reducing the number of unwanted pets is continuing to make a difference, as another round of assistance becomes available for residents.

Lima officials are continuing the SNAP program, offering vouchers to help residents spay and neuter their pets and reduce overpopulation. The program has issued 221 vouchers so far and remains in high demand, with funding distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
