TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A Roundhead man has been sentenced to nine and a half years in federal prison for possession of child pornography, according to court documents.
Mark Butterman was sentenced in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in Toledo on one count of receipt and distribution of child pornography.
According to a federal indictment, between December 2023 and June 2024, Butterman received and distributed material involving sexually explicit content of a minor.
Authorities say he was arrested following an investigation conducted by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.
Butterman will also serve 15 years of supervised release after completing his prison sentence.
