PANDORA (WLIO) — Ottoville bounced back from an early deficit to defeat Pandora-Gilboa 12-2 in five innings.
Pandora-Gilboa struck first in the opening inning when McKenna Deken reached on a slow roller that brought home a run. Earlier in the frame, Annabelle Benton ended the inning with a strikeout to keep the game scoreless.
Ottoville answered in the second inning. Emma Brinkman delivered a blooper down the left field line that stayed fair, allowing two runs to score and giving the Lady Green the lead.
Brinkman also handled the work in the circle, pitching a complete game with three strikeouts as Ottoville pulled away for the win.
