News Release 12-15-2024 through 12-28-2024 

On 12-15-2024 officers were called the 500 block of S. Main St, for an unwanted guest. Upon arrival officers made contact with a female who stated that a male was in the residence making threats towards her. The male, 48-year-old Brennan Rohr, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. A report was taken for the original call of threats made to the female. That report is being reviewed by the Prosecutor’s Office for charges of Aggravated Menacing.

On 12-16-2024 officers filed a charge of Criminal Damaging on 42-year-old Jose Salazar, of Delphos. Salazar admittedly cut an immobilization device off of his steering wheel prior to meeting all of the requirements of a court order.

On 12-16-2024 officers responded to the 400 block of N. Clay St, to investigate the report of a deceased male. After investigating it was determined that no foul play was involved.

On 12-16-2024 officers were sent to the 100 block of N. Clay St, for an abandoned 911 call. Upon arrival officers met with a male and female who had been involved in a verbal altercation. No further action was taken as no physical violence had occurred.

On 12-16-2024 officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of N. Main St, for a Domestic Disturbance between a male and his adult daughter. The female left the residence to resolve the issue.

On 12-17-2024 officers responded to the 400 block of N. Canal St, for a Domestic Disturbance between a female and her juvenile son. No physical violence occurred, and no further action was required.

On 12-18-2024 officers were sent to the 1600 block of Gressel Dr, to investigate a minor crash involving a semi and a passenger car.

On 12-18-2024 officers were called back to the 400 block of N. Canal St, for a mother and her son in a dispute. Officers advised both parties on how to resolve their issues without having an altercation.

On 12-19-2024 officers spoke with a male in the 1300 block of Rose Anna St, who reported receiving multiple unwanted text messages from a female.

On 12-19-2024 a male called the police department to report an incident. The male stated that another male, with whom he worked, owed him money for items that he purchased for him. The male was requesting officers’ assistance in retrieving the items but he was informed that this is a civil issue.

On 12-19-2024 officers spoke with a female who stated that her juvenile son left their residence after he became upset and had not returned. Officers located the juvenile a short time later and he was returned home.

On 12-20-2024 a male in the 100 block of N. State St, reported that someone damaged his property by driving through a portion of his yard.

On 12-20-2024 officers investigated a two-vehicle crash on Lima Ave, near Dewey St. The vehicles only sustained minor damage.

On 12-20-2024 officers spoke with a male who reported receiving unwanted contact from his ex-girlfriend.

On 12-21-2024 officers assisted Deputies at the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in the 10000 block of Elida Rd, for a male at that location threatening to harm himself. The male was located and taken by EMS to the hospital for a mental evaluation.

On 12-22-2024 officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Fort Jennings Rd, for a Domestic Violence complaint. Upon arrival officers met with a male and a female at the residence. Officers investigated the incident and found probable cause to arrest the male, 31-year-old Rogelio Roblero, for Domestic Violence.

On 12-22-2024 a male called the police department to report that his live-in girlfriend damaged his vehicle after becoming upset with him.

On 12-22-2024 officers responded to the 600 block of E. 5th St, for a Domestic Violence complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with a male and female at the residence. After investigating the incident, officers found probable cause to arrest the female, 34-year-old Stephanie Closson, of Delphos, for Domestic Violence.

On 12-23-2024 a female called the police department to report an unwanted guest on her property. Officers arrived and located the male, her nephew, whom she claimed was threatening to harm her.

On 12-24-2024 officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Lima Ave, to investigate the discovery of a deceased male. After investigating the incident, it was determined that no foul play had occurred.

On 12-24-2024 a male in the 1400 block of S. Clay St, called the police department to report being assaulted by another male.

On 12-24-2024 officers were sent to the intersection of Hudson and W. Clime streets to investigate a two-vehicle crash. The driver of one vehicle was issued a citation for a stop sign violation.

On 12-25-2024 officers were sent to the 600 block of Dayton St, for a disturbance. Upon arrival officers spoke with a female who reported that her boyfriend was asked to leave the residence but refused. Officers spoke with the male, and he left the residence when advised to do so.

On 12-26-2024 officers spoke with a female in the 1400 block of S. Clay St. She advised officers that her father had called her and came to her residence multiple times to start an altercation. The female was advised of the Criminal Trespass procedure as well as the process of filing for a protection order.

On 12-26-2024 officers were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Grant St, for an Ungovernable Juvenile complaint. A female at that residence reported that her juvenile son was acting in a threatening manner towards her.

On 12-27-2024 officers were sent to the 400 block of Moxie Lane for an unwanted guest complaint.

On 12-28-2024 officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of S. Bredeick St, for an unknown person on the property. Officers arrived and spoke to a female who stated that the person left but she believed it to be an ex-boyfriend.

On 12-28-2024 a female called the police department from the 800 block of W. Clime St, to report that her boyfriend was causing a disturbance but had left.

On 12-28-2024 officers were sent to a residence in the 100 block of W. Clime St, for an altercation between two males. Officers spoke with all parties at the residence and found that it was a verbal argument only.
