Some local youngsters are on their way to Washington D.C. to participate in the annual March for Life.
Two buses loaded with 61 people took off this evening from Delphos St. John's High School.
The annual march protests the landmark Roe versus Wade decision that legalized abortion.
Organizers are excited about the event.
“Oh absolutely, absolutely and I told the kids I said this march is going to be bigger and better than any march we’ve had before. I think the weather is supposed to be nice. I think there will be a lot of people out. We hear that Vice President (Mike) Pence is supposed to be at the rally so if that’s true that would be great, so we’re quite excited”,said Kim Honigford with campus ministry at Delphos St. John’s High School.
The group will attend a youth rally tomorrow morning then onto the march, but not before stopping at congressman Jim Jordan’s office.
On Saturday the group plans to do a little sightseeing before heading back.
