PAULDING COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Paulding County man will be spending the rest of his life in prison for killing a husband and wife in 2022.
24-year-old Clay Dockery pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated murder and was sentenced to two consecutive stints of life in prison with no chance of parole.Â
In December 2022, the Paulding County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called for a welfare check because 60-year-old Celecita Williams had not been at work for two days. During that check, deputies found Williams and her 81-year-old husband, Bruce Williams, dead in a barn. Dockery was later arrested in Ashtabula County, and they say he admitted to killing the couple and stealing their vehicle.
