LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A crash at the Superior Credit Union on Allentown Road just before 11 a.m. today resulted in minor damage to the building.
Authorities say a driver backed into a tree in the landscaping, causing the tree to snap and strike the gutter, leading to minor structural damage. The driver’s back windshield was shattered, but they were not injured. The driver was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center for evaluation. Lima police suspect the driver may have been experiencing a medical issue when the incident occurred.
