LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Fire Department responded to an electrical fire on Nye Street.
Shortly after the resident left for work, neighbors called to report heavy smoke coming from 514 Nye Street around 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The fire spread to both floors of the home. The house suffered heavy damage, and firefighters say the wiring seems to have been the cause. There were no injuries and the fire is still under investigation.
