October 5, 2023 Press Release from the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force: On 10/5/2023 at approx. 0545 hrs. the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Special Response Team and the Findlay Police Department’s K9 Units executed a narcotic search warrant at 8115 Parkwood Drive (Riverview Terrace), Findlay, Ohio. The Task Force had fielded complaints on the address.
The search of the residence yielded suspected methamphetamine. Other items of paraphernalia were located indicating drug use and trafficking. A loaded small caliber rifle was also seized.
As a result of the search the following person was arrested and incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center:
Michael J. Bennett (age 32)
8115 Parkwood Dr.
Findlay, Ohio
Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine – Felony 5
Having Weapons Under Disability – Felony 3
Resisting Arrest – Misdemeanor 2
Obstructing Official Business – Misdemeanor 2
Additional charges of drug trafficking are expected at the conclusion of this investigation.
