FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) - Music can be found in some of the most unlikely places. That was the lesson on Friday at the Hancock County Park District as they taught children how to make musical instruments with household items.
The kids crafted their own instruments using everyday items like paper plates, tape, rubber bands and beans. The skills the kids can gain from these kinds of workshops not only give them insight on music but also artistic and creative thinking skills. Some of the instruments made were paper plate tambourines, a rain stick from paper towel rolls or a rubber band bass.
