LOGAN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - This morning's weather may have been a factor in a fatal crash in Logan County that claimed a Lima man.
According to the Logan County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Dietrich Lyles of Lima was southbound on State Route 117, to the north of Huntsville, when he lost control on an ice-covered bridge. He spun out, before recovering, but then collided head-on with a northbound vehicle. Lyles died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle, 40-year-old Kyle Davis of Bellefontaine was taken to Lima Memorial with minor injuries. The crash closed 117 for several hours.
