An Indiana man falls to his death Thursday morning in Putnam County.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has released that 21-year-old Elmer Christner of Geneva, Indiana, was pronounced dead after falling 26 feet from a barn roof near Pandora just after 10 a.m.
Christner had been removing sheet metal roofing when the board he was standing on broke, causing his fall. The incident remains under investigation.
