Crews preparing for "Flip the Switch" event in 2023.
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It's looking a lot like Christmas in downtown Lima as the Lima Fire Department assembles the huge Christmas tree in Lima's town square.
The ladder truck is used as 24 strings of garland are hoisted up some 50 feet in the air onto the roundabout flag pole. It's a tradition that the firefighters put up the tree and the annual "Flip the Switch" event is planned for Friday, November 17th at 6:45 p.m. with activities sponsored by Good Food Restaurants and Mix 103.3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
