Congressman Jim Jordan talked to the Allen County Republicans about the current state in Washington D.C.
He spoke on rising crime, rising inflation, and a record number of illegal immigrants coming into the country. Jordan points his finger at the Biden Administration and the current majority in both the House and Senate.
“Trying to stop them from doing any more damage to the country. The good news I think is, the American people have figured out how bad the Biden Administration is. I think and I hope, I think you are going to see a big change come November,” says Jordan. “I know that is 10 months away, but I think the midterm elections are going to be good for Republican and there for good for the country.”
Jordan is another person that the congressional January 6th select committee may be looking to bring in to testify on the events of the capital attack. We asked him if he will talk to the committee in the future.
“We got a letter, I have been asked, we haven’t been subpoenaed, we will respond. But I have to tell you I got real concerns about any committee that will alter evidence and lie to the American people, it’s exactly what they did, but we will give an answer to the committee at some point.”
Jordan’s book “Do What You Said You Would Do” was released this past fall and gives his thoughts on the investigation of the U.S. Congress and President Trump's four years in office.
