VAN WERT, OHIO (WLIO) - A trial date has been set for a Celina man who is facing charges for killing his former girlfriend in Van Wert in 2023.
Ryan Houser is facing murder, tampering with evidence, and a weapons charge for the death of Barbara Ganger in September of 2023.
Ryan Houser, 39, is facing murder, tampering with evidence, and a weapons charge for the death of 43-year-old Barbara Ganger in September of 2023. The Van Wert Common Pleas Court Judge set an April date for the trial. On Labor Day 2023, Van Wert police officers were called to Ganger's apartment for a welfare check. They found her dead with gunshot wounds to the stomach and the eye. Houser's final pretrial is set for March.
