ArtSpace/Lima wants to keep the creative process going over the holidays.
They will be handing out their “Art To Go” bags. The medium is pastels for stenciling Christmas lights on a dark background or any idea you can come up with. The art bags have been a huge success with people which they started when the pandemic hit to keep families creative.
ArtSpace Executive Director Sally Windle explains, “It’s an activity that you can take, interpret, and do many other different things, so we try to gear it so it’s not a one project event. That they can take this, apply other things, and engage others to do this. It’s a skill builder.”
You can pick up the art bags starting at noon this Saturday by driving through on Cherry Alley. Windle says they have distributed 23,000 “Art To Go” bags since they started the project.
