Ohio State Lima welcomes group students from the 2017 Lima Summer Playground Program for some outdoor fun.
Around 150 students arrived on campus today to enjoyed things like, wiffle ball, craft time, paper airplane making and Harry Potter yoga. All students had to opportunity to make a stop at each session throughout the day. Director of student life at OSU Lima, Shane McCrory says fun activities like this are a good way for the kids to get out and have some healthy fun.Â
"So just kind of get them you know a different routine, get them on to a college campus, show them tat Ohio State Lima is here, plus, honestly, it's a lot of fun for us. It's nice to break up the work day and have fun with some of the students and kind of show them what we have here,"says McCrory.Â
The fun will continue on Tuesday from nine to noon.Â
