Kohli sworn in as new head park ranger

A familiar face at the Lima Police Department taking on a new role to serve the community.

Former Lima Police Department Officer Randy Kohli was sworn in as the City of Lima's new head park ranger. It's a new position that will oversee the department. Park rangers patrol city parks, reservoirs, and bike paths. They are part of the parks department, under the supervision of the police department with all the sworn authority of an officer.

Kohli says he believes in Lima-Allen County and this is another way he can give back. He spent 34 years as an officer at the Lima Police Department.
