Legacy Arts continues to grow in downtown Lima

Back on September 23rd, Shop for Good officially took up half of the floor space at Alter Ego Comics as part of the plan to create a space for the arts in Lima to come together under one roof. Rustgaze Records and The Meeting Place are also part of the partnership. A recording space for Rustgaze Records is in the works for the building. Once the first floor is completed, Legacy Arts will be looking at working on the rest of the space on the upper floors.

"We've already heard from several businesses that would like to have a space in town, and basically be surrounded by creativity," said Marc Bowker, owner of Alter Ego comics. "That’s one of the benefits, and really one of the things that attracted me to the project was to surround myself with creative and like-minded people."

Alter Ego will be including the other businesses in Legacy Arts in their annual Halloween ComicsFest on October 26th.
