Lima Catholic Schools parents put their money where their kids are at the annual Bid for Our Kids fundraiser.
The annual event raises money to help Lima Central Catholic and St. Charles cover costs for things that aren't necessarily in the budget for the school like new security features and technology. It also brings parents from both schools together in a way that aren't usually able to.
"It's a great chance, actually, for all the parents to get together," said Lyn Mulcahy, co-chair of the event. "Our kids go to school together so it's great for us to socialize together, but it's a chance for us to come together and support our kids and our teachers and our schools, and the Lima Catholic community at large."
The schools switched up the bidding process this year by ditching the paper in pencil in favor of digital bidding.
