A Lima native was ordained as a diocesan priest this weekend.
Reverend David Kidd was one of three men ordained Saturday at the Diocese of Toledo's Ordination of Priests by the Most Reverend Daniel Thomas Bishop of Toledo.
The Rite of Ordination took place Saturday at Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo.
Reverend Austin Ammanniti of Bellevue and Reverend Jeffery Smith of Tiffin were also ordained at the ceremony.
Kidd is from Saint Charles Borromeo Parish in Lima. He is a graduate of Lima Central Catholic School. He is currently studying sacred theology in Rome, where he will be returning later this year after being ordained as priest.
