ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Allen County Common Pleas Court is making sure a Lima man, charged with stabbing his mother, will remain in a mental health facility for treatment.
26-year-old Kevin Stahr has been in the facility since 2021 when he was found incompetent to stand trial. The court reviewed his status today and it was determined that he will not be restored by February for his case to move forward. Stahr was indicted on one count of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault.
In June of 2021, Stahr took a knife and stabbed his mother multiple times. Someone was able to distract Stahr long enough for her to get away and call the police.
