Lima Detective Steve Stechschulte says they have more evidence in that Saturday night shooting on the 200 block of South Main Street.
Stechschulte says he's gathered more information from cell phone videos, witnesses, and has obtained good leads on suspect names. The incident started with an argument that broke out at a graduation party. Those involved were asked to leave and they took the argument across the street where shots were fired. Detective Stechschulte says over thirty shots were fired and a male adult and female juvenile both received at least one gun shot wound. Both were taken to St. Rita's with non-life threatening wounds. Stechschulte says names will not be released at the moment until more evidence against the suspects is gathered.
"A lot of the information we are getting in is really good by phone calls but also by social media and by cultivating some of the tips that we're getting in we're locating people that are willing to step forth and say what they saw," commented Stechschulte.
Stechschulte believes the incident that occurred is gang related.
