LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – With summer-like conditions continuing this weekend, the Lima Community Aquatic Park is giving families another chance to enjoy outdoor fun.
With temperatures expected to reach the upper 80s, visitors can cool off in the park’s outdoor activity pool and water slides. Pool management said they have been pleased with the community’s response since their opening.
“Response has been very strong, very positive,” said Kelly Lepsig, general manager. “I think the schools are very excited that we’re going to start our swim lessons, or we have started our swim lessons for the school system, so it’s been a very welcoming experience all the way around.”

The aquatic park will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Concessions will open at noon both days. Daily rates can be found at limaaquaticpark.com.
