Monday, the Lima Rotarians heard from the Allen County Health Commissioner with an update of how Allen County Public Health has been operating during the pandemic.
It has been all hands-on deck to navigate and deal with all the added work that is necessary for the situation at hand. But they still have all the duties that they are responsible for with or without a pandemic such as nursing, clinics, and environmental services.
Allen County Health Commissioner Branden Fischer explains, “But in addition to the other programs we have at the health department. Doing foo inspections, septic inspections pool inspections to help community stay healthy and safe.”
The pandemic has caused some changes in hours in some services so it’s best to call first or check on their Facebook page for any changes.
