Some Lima City School students learning with all their senses this week in the classroom.
Kindergartners at Lima's South Science and Technology Magnet School tasting, smelling, and feeling their assignment this week. They were learning about the apple and Friday was applesauce day. The students helped their teacher with the recipe, not only using their senses but also their math skills with measuring the ingredients.
The apples and all ingredients were put in a crock pot on high for 3 to 4 hours and the children got to taste what they made before they went home.
