Timothy DeHaven, owner of DeHaven Home and Garden Showplace, pleaded guilty to seven felony charges, which includes selling without a license, filing incomplete, false, and fraudulent tax returns and failing to file monthly tax returns for his business.
DeHaven was accepted into a diversion program, which allows him to avoid jail time and to pay back the taxes he owes. Through the program, DeHaven will have to complete 100 hours of community service, pay a monthly diversion fee, be under supervision for one year and pay back nearly 4 thousand dollars in taxes. If he completes the program without further issues DeHaven will not face any jail time and charges will be dismissed.
