Trooper Brandon Schreiber

LIMA, Ohio - Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Brandon P. Schreiber has been selected as the 2025 Trooper of the Year at the Lima Post.

The selection of Trooper Schreiber, 30, is in recognition of outstanding service during 2025 at the Lima Post. Fellow officers stationed at the Lima Post chose Trooper Schreiber based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.

Trooper Schreiber is now in contention for the District and State Trooper of the Year Award to be announced at a later date.

Trooper Schreiber joined the Highway Patrol in 2017 and serves at the Lima Post since then. Originally from Wapakoneta, Ohio, he is a graduate of Wapakoneta High School. Ohio State Highway Patrol awards he received in the past include: District Trooper of the Year Award, Criminal Patrol Award, Ace Award, Traffic Safety Award, successfully trained another Trooper Ribbon, Safe Driving Ribbon, and Physical Fitness Ribbon with Star.

Trooper Schreiber and his wife, Paige, reside in the Wapakoneta area.
