KALIDA — Two Kalida High School seniors officially signed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Malia Romes, a three-sport standout in volleyball, basketball and track, committed to Rutgers University to play volleyball. Romes was named this year’s Putnam County League Player of the Year.
Her teammate Lauren Laudick signed with the University of Findlay to compete in track and field. Laudick anchored Kalida’s 4x400 relay team to a third-place finish at the state championship in May.
