Last year three people were killed and hundreds injured in the Boston Marathon Bombing. Now a year later 36,000 runners, including two from our area, are ready to reclaim that strong Boston spirit.
Despite the uncertainty of not knowing what could happen this year, runners are coming back Boston Strong.

Despite not running in the marathon last year, Ron Bonifas was convinced by his son, who was near the explosion, to race in 2014. So after qualifying in Columbus, he decided to join the pack.
As runners this year, they plan on looking out for each other even more. Boston Marathon runners will take off from the starting line starting at 8:50 a.m. on Monday.
