PAULDING COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Mississippi man accused of a road rage incident was arrested near the Ohio-Indiana state line by multiple law enforcement agencies. The Paulding County Sheriff's Office says that their deputies arrived on the scene on US 24 just east of the state line to assist Indiana law enforcement, who had pulled over and detained 37-year-old Jeremiah Nix from Greenville, Mississippi. Authorities from Missouri had been tracking the commercial vehicle being driven by Nix. They sent out a warrant to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office to arrest Nix on unlawful use of a weapon, shooting from a motor vehicle at a person and one count of assault. Nix is currently in the Paulding County jail for those charges out of Missouri. He will face an extradition hearing at some time in the future.
